Sensitive drawings should move through a controlled review path.

The first website form collects project context only. Detailed drawings and proprietary files should move after initial review through a secure project channel, with NDA discussion available before sensitive exchange.

Why files are not uploaded publicly yet

Manufacturing drawings can contain proprietary geometry, assembly interfaces, supplier assumptions, and customer IP. Public upload should not be added until storage, validation, access, and retention rules are implemented correctly.

  • Private storage required
  • Server-side validation
  • Signed access
  • Retention policy

What to send first

A short description is enough for initial routing. Buyers can describe the part, material target, quantity, delivery need, and whether an NDA is required before sharing detailed files.

  • Part context
  • Material and quantity
  • Timeline
  • NDA request

Before detailed exchange

The review path should confirm who needs access, what file types are acceptable, whether executable files are rejected, and how sensitive drawings are shared with suppliers.

  • Access control
  • Allowed file types
  • No executable files
  • Supplier sharing boundary
